Lovely session in Austria
It’s summer time in Europe, and it’s hot… too hot. For that reason, I would like to propose you today one of my favorite couple photoshooting of last year. Alexane and Fabrice are newlyweds and wanted to do this lovely session in Austria, in the snow.
If you don’t know Hallstatt, I would recommend to go for a day or two. This beautiful village built on the side of a mountain overlooks a big lake, and is surrounded by high peaks. Early in the morning, before the first bus of tourists unloads hundreds of people in the city, it is remarkably quiet. And maybe the best time of the day to enjoy the scenery. You can feel the dry cold on your face, your toes freezing, and just hoping the coffee shop is open to get your hot drink. As you can imagine, it was in December, with sub-zero temperatures 😉
It was the third time I was shooting with Alexane and Fabrice. Yes, their memories mean a LOT to them. Engagement session, then wedding in winter, and… the icing on the cake: “Why not having a shoot with the dress while we’re on honey moon?”. You know me. “No” is not a word from my vocabulary…
Again, I loved this moments we spent together. Again, you showed me simplicity, generosity and sincerity. And again, I witnessed the true and powerful love that links you two…
A few words from Alexane and Fabrice
We are one of those people who love enjoying the moment rather than taking pictures of it. But our wedding was such a special occasion that we wanted both! And we knew that Louis would be able to capture the essence of it.
That is why we also trusted him to capture the magic of our honeymoon. Thanks to him we spent a very special day walking in tiny streets, playing, running and cuddling in the snow in our wedding garments, totally cut off tourism. We had moments that we could not have lived without Louis. And as he is such a great travel companion, we did not regret to share a bit of our honeymoon with him.
That day could have been an ordinary day wandering in a crowded – but beautiful – little town. But instead we discovered the area with Louis’s eyes and the freedom (and kind of privacy) a wedding gown gives you.
