Engagement session in Hong Kong
Rachel and Matt are getting married in France this year, in a beautiful region called Champagne. They live in Hong-Kong, and as I love meeting all my couples face to face before their wedding, I proposed them to shoot an Engagement session in Hong Kong.
Rachel is from Malaysia and Matt from England. They have a lovely story of travelers, as they met in Brazil a few years ago, and are now living at the other side of the world together. The goal of this photo session was to record some memories of their lives in Hong-Kong, as expatriates might not spend their all lives in one place…
From Sai Ying Pun to Kowloon, via Central and Wan Chai, we’ve walked many kilometers to shoot in some of the most typical places of Hong Kong, while discovering some very unusual areas. The second day was greener, away from the city. We enjoyed the natural area of Victoria Peak, the height over the city, and the mosquitoes…
A few words from Rachel and Matt
We were thrilled to have Louis do a couple’s photoshoot for us in Hong Kong. We wanted to capture some memories of our time in Hong Kong and when Louis offered to come across and do it, we jumped at the offer!
This was really a fun experience over the weekend, despite the fact that it was very rainy. The photos really reflect the contrasts that characterise Hong Kong: old and new, busy and calm, city and nature. We particular love the photos taken at the fresh market right next to our apartment, so local!
