Destination Wedding in Puycelsi

Mimi and Sam’s adventure started like a real “love at first sight” story in Ibiza, which explains a lot about their crazy party at the wedding, but let’s start from the beginning… It happens sometimes that I meet a couple and instantly know they are generous people. That’s the first thing I felt right after reading their first email. And it has become an evidence the day before their wedding when I met them personally.

That’s a story of two lovely birds from London, who embrace the life to the fullest and love their families and friends more than anything. They also have this bit of madness that you know I care for very much. In short, the typical couple I like to work with… They love south of France, and decided to do their destination wedding in Puycelsi, a fabulous village that means a lot to them. Sam’s parents have a family house there, and he has a lot of memories there.

The wedding has been delicately organized by Hannah, and reflects a lot Mimi and Sam’s personalities. Simple, emotional, festive, this day will stay in my memories as one of the best wedding of the season. I’m leaving you to let you discover the atmosphere and energy of the day (and night)!

A few words from Mimi and Sam

Sam and I had specific ideas in mind when we were looking for our photographer. Except for a few posed photos of family members, we knew that we wanted a photographer that would capture the energy and essence of our wedding, rather than us spending hours away from our guests posing for photos and feeling embarrassed in front of a camera. We were impressed with his style of photos on his website and after a Skype call with him, we knew he was the right photographer for us.

Throughout our wedding weekend, Louis was the perfect fly on the wall, you didn’t even notice that he was there and the results were fantastic! He produced a true storyboard of photos that captured the happiness, laughter, fun and love that was present from not only us, but all our guests too. His eye for photography is superb and due to him, we get to relive our wedding through these photos over and over again. We could not have picked a better photographer.
